Welcome to the Concordia International School Shanghai Model United Nations!

The CISSMUN conference is a three-day simulation of the United Nations taking place January 17-19, 2020 on the campus of Concordia International School Shanghai. This year’s event will see over 1000 students from around the world representing UN member states in 15 different UN forums. The theme of this year’s conference is Human Rights and Dignity, and many of the chosen topics will address ways in which the international community-and youth in particular-can work together on behalf of those whose lives are defined by violence, servitude and degradation.

The goal and mission of CISSMUN XI is to provide a UN simulation in which students of diverse backgrounds can hone the skills of research, public speaking and negotiation while cultivating the virtues of active global citizenship and principle-centered leadership.

We would be pleased to welcome a delegation from your school next January, and we invite you to explore our website or contact us directly. We offer community housing to visiting schools on a limited, space-available basis, and we can also assist with hotels and tours for those wishing to take in the sights of Shanghai in the days before or after the conference.
