Melati and Isabel: youth leaders embodying GIN spirit

We are excited to have Melati and Isabel Wijsen join us as keynote speakers for GINAsia 2018. These two teenage sisters from Bali embody the spirit of GIN. They saw a problem: the overuse of plastic bags in Bali and environmental destruction related to the disposal of too much plastic. They invented a solution: convince people to stop using plastic bags. Their campaign, called Bye Bye Plastic Bags, has been so successful that they have convinced the government of Bali to ban plastic bags on the entire island.
